MODERN VERSION OF TRADITIONAL OUTBUILDING

This is a design of a modern orangery formed from structural glazing.

Traditional orangeries are period glazing with adjustable shading, to protect from overheating. The shading proposed here is permanent and external, yet allows direct full views both out and in. To be sure that the shading design suits the purpose, we checked the sunpath and shadows for this exact location, checking that it would provide a suitable internal environment, whilst allowing maximum views onto the garden.
